Data Storage

The UGC Filter extension only saves a small amount of configuration data using Chrome’s built-in sync or local storage:

• Filter toggle state — Whether the filter is turned on or off
• UI Settings — Interface elements such as filter status and version display

No personal information, browsing history, Roblox account details, or identifiers of any kind are collected, shared, or stored anywhere outside your own browser.

Permissions Explained

To function correctly, UGC Filter requests minimal permissions:

• Storage — Used to save your filter preference (enabled or disabled) locally in your browser.
• Active Tab — Allows the extension to send messages to current Roblox tabs when enabling or disabling the filter.
• Host Permissions (roblox.com only) — Enables the content script to apply the “Roblox-only items” filter on catalog pages.

These granted permissions cannot read your Roblox account information, credentials, Robux, or private data. They are strictly limited to in-browser content modification within Roblox’s public catalog pages.

Third-Party Services

UGC Filter does not integrate or interact with any third-party systems. There are no:

• Analytics or tracking scripts
• Advertising networks
• APIs or remote databases

All extension logic executes entirely within your browser.

Policy Updates

This privacy policy may be updated periodically to reflect minor improvements or compliance updates. When updated, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will change. Any meaningful policy changes will be clearly mentioned in the Chrome Web Store update notes.
